My Story

I'm an American indie folk artist based in Haarlem, Netherlands. Playing and singing music has been an important part of my life for decades, though for most of that time it was something I did at home for my own fulfillment.

In my mid-fifties, alongside a career and family, I decided to make music a more intentional part of my life. I joined a band and later began performing solo, building several years of live experience primarily through cover gigs.

Over time, it became clear what I really wanted: to write, record, and perform my own songs, and to try to build an audience around them. In other words, to become an artist.

I'm now developing a growing body of original work, with an emphasis on melody and emotionally direct lyrics. I'm performing at listening-room events in the Netherlands and preparing my first professionally produced releases for this autumn.

I'm excited to keep putting in the work, grow as a songwriter and performer, and see where the story goes.
